Misdirected email yesterday: an invitation to view a google doc about a "great smoky mountain hike". I responded asking if she meant to invite someone else. Today she got back to me and said "i'm sure you're as amazing as she is. With a name like Rachel Lewis you can't go wrong!"

Misdirected email of the day: an invitation to finish creating my free bibliography manager account with EasyBib. Perhaps I will!

Hey Rachel!
Cassie and I were talking the other day and thought you might be interested in some things on her street. You two could be neighbors!!!!!  The first one on the list is the only real possibility I think but I thought you two might be interested on the price of the others on the street!  Looking forward to your arrival!

me:
Hi there. How intriguing. I have never yet considered moving to Texas, but if I've got friendly neighbours pre-selected then maybe I should.

Fwd: Blood spatter
Ok I only received two photographs. However some of the blood in the photograph appears to be diluted and gives the appearance as if someone began to try and clean the blood. The amount of blood and scissors tend to lead one to conclude that the scene tells us this was a stabbing or even surface cuts. The blood on the wall could be cast off from the tip of the scissors, however the blood droplets, round drops, which would have been under the body gives the appearance that the attack occurred while the victim was upright on their feet or knees. Thus the cast off is a little low, it could be because of the half moon shape on the wall could indicate the victims head struck the wall, but I think it is cast off from the suspect swing of the scissors.
The clothing was on the floor at the time of the attack because the blood droplets on the up side of the clothing indicate they were there during the attack. (Because I can only look at the photo I can't tell you anymore about the clothing) The droplets would need to all be collected because the suspect may have been cut during the attack.
It is extremely hard to look at photos without further information and make a determination of blood. However the important points are there are droplets under the body, they could come from the scissors, cut on the suspects hands or from the victim in an upright position. The blood had been smeared or rubbed with something and the diluted appearance of the blood would led on to consider that someone tried to clean the blood. The clothing was on the floor at the time of the attack because of the droplets and the scissors give you a possible weapon. The cast off on the wall appears to spatter.

Wow, this wins the prize for most eye-catching subject line from among this week's misdirected emails. There are a lot of Rachel Lewises in the world, and I get mail intended for all of them. Out of curiosity, was this message meant for the cardiologist in new york?
Good luck tracking down the correct Rachel Lewis.
Cheers

So sorry! I noticed as soon as I sent it that it was wrong. It's actually a project for a forensics class in high school, haha nothing big!
